Which is why no spa can come close to our prices. We have found client's don't want cheap- they want value! About those $49.00 massages or facials, please. We did a price comparison and personally visited these facilities. Let's first address the facials; from the chin up are you kidding me? Is this not what happened to our grandma's (they were never taught to treat their neck like their face)? You see their precious faces, then glance at their neck, at least a 15 year difference! Our facials include the eyes, face, neck and declotage'. A scrub you can do at home not a professional peel and no eye area treatment of any kind unless you keep paying for all the "add-ons & upgrades". Our $99 "Serenity" Warm Stone Facial ended up costing $159.00 even with their "member" discount. What happened to the $49 facial? You get what you pay for! I took the time to write this for you after taking a phone call and having the woman comment on our price for a facial.

After sharing with her all of our steps that are included, she was shocked she would recieve all this for our price. I can honestly say there is no better price with what we include. And our facility, 7,000 sq. ft. of luxury with private showers & changing rooms, tea-room, nap room and a seperate vanity room just to name a few; all with an affordable price. Massages: full 60 & 90 minutes (not 50 or 80, I'd rather have longer massage time, wouldn't you)? We include good for your skin non-greasy organic plant oils for our massages, no extra charge for deep tissue work, cranial work included, hand & foot reflexology included plus more. Changing in the treatment room? Then deduct that time from your actual massage. Your time starts the moment you enter that room. This is the very reason our private changing rooms were so important to us. We were proudly told the prices were cheap due to not including all the "foo foo" stuff you pay for at a real spa.

Listening to 5 - 6 people talking next to me in an open room to some may be 'foo foo'; to me personally it's ridiculous. Skinsations Spa all the "foo foo" go ahead and pamper me, take me away from it all and "cheaper" than what they charge! Don't be deceived. We believe you can have it all! Finally the spa that got it right. Value is a Beautiful Thing!

Our Skinsations Spa team of expert waxers are waiting to give you weeks of hair-free skin. From silky smooth legs, underarms and of course, our most popular 'Telly Savalas' bikini. And we do not re-dip waxing sticks.  We use a fresh stick with every dip, so Betty's bikini wax doesn't become your lip wax (watch if going somewhere else for waxing, they'll just keep dipping the same stick (cross contaminating).

Oh, and other places using those rollers!!! Can you say cross-contamination? As I was getting my pedicure I was watching the esthetician publicly waxing a woman's lip with what looked like the tail end of a cold sore; I could not help but ask how she sanitized the wax. I was told the wax being heated killed everything. I'm no genius but the heat would have to be really hot to do that! We use the highest grade of wax possible; to ensure an impeccable 'painless as possible' waxing experience.

Threading not here! Years ago I was taught and used to do threading. I stopped when I began to realize it did not last as long as waxing due to the fact it does not get the root of the hair. The thread acts just like a scissor that cuts the hair just below the follicle. By not pulling or lifting the hair out by the root is why the hair grows back with a coarsness. Waxing which includes the root removal is why the hair grows back softer, finer and over time haults the hair growth all together. When you wax you can actually see the bulb (root) look at the fallen hair with threading, no bulb!
